Formed out of a mutual love for late-night club jams and deep pocket grooves, Cool Pocket strips away the unnecessary to focus on what matters most: tone, interplay, and feel. Whether digging into a sultry slow-burn blues or pushing the tempo with complex modal jazz, the trio creates an intimate, immersive conversation between drums, bass, and keys.

Dave Kroyer hails from Milwaukee Wisconsin. Dave cut his teeth playing percussion/drums from Minneapolis to Milwaukee and Chicago as a teenager. After earning an associates degree in Jazz Performance from the Wisconsin Conservatory of music, he went west and studied at the Musicians Institute of Technology (P.I.T.) Upon graduation he worked with many national and international recording artists. He now calls Austin Texas home base.

Peter Fuller is a New Orleans/Austin bass player with a diverse background in blues, roots, Americana, funk, Latin music, and original music. He has performed and recorded with artists including El Combo Oscuro, Mia Borders, Grady “Fats” Jackson, Billy Wright, Sandra Hall, Pat Ramsey, Felix Reyes, John Lisi, Danny Alexander, and Troy Turner, among others.

With a blend of musical precision and soulful energy, he’s earned a reputation as a go-to collaborator for live performances, studio projects, and creative bands across the region. He has performed with artists including Jo James, Omarr Awake, and Jennifer D'Spain.
